Refund Policy

Overview
Cutly offers a 7-day free trial with no credit card required. This exists so you can evaluate the platform before committing to a paid subscription. We encourage you to make full use of the trial period.
Because our service is delivered digitally and immediately upon subscription, we generally do not offer refunds on subscription fees already charged. However, we are reasonable people — see the specific circumstances below.
When you are entitled to a refund
We will issue a full or partial refund in the following situations:
1. Billing error
If you were charged incorrectly — for example, charged after cancelling, charged the wrong amount, or charged twice — we will refund the full incorrect amount within 5 business days of us confirming the error.
2. Extended service outage
If Cutly experiences a verified outage lasting more than 72 consecutive hours within a billing period, you may request a pro-rata credit for that period. We will apply this as a credit to your next invoice or as a refund if you have cancelled.
3. Statutory rights
Under UK consumer law, you have the right to a refund if a service is not provided as described. If you believe Cutly has materially failed to deliver what was promised, contact us and we will review your case fairly.
4. Goodwill refunds
We review refund requests on a case-by-case basis. If you subscribed by accident, forgot to cancel before renewal, or have a genuine exceptional circumstance, email us and we will do our best to help. We cannot guarantee goodwill refunds but we will always consider them.
When we do not offer refunds
- Subscription fees for periods already used (you had access to the service and used it)
- Change of mind after a subscription has been charged, where no billing error occurred
- Failure to cancel before a renewal date (set a reminder — we'll always send a billing receipt so you know a charge has occurred)
- Account suspension due to breach of our Terms of Service
How to request a refund
Email us at hello@cut-ly.life with the following:
- The email address on your Cutly account
- The amount charged and the date of the charge
- The reason for your refund request
We aim to respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed via Stripe and typically appear in your account within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing section of your dashboard. Cancellation stops future charges. You retain access until the end of your current billing period. No partial-month refunds are issued upon cancellation.
